Smiley Riley’s Ice Cream Lounge taps into the national fad of creating alcohol-infused ice cream delights such as toasty sm’ores with rum and 13 other adult flavors, along with kiddie-approved flavors too.  It’s a new happy hour indulgence.  Newly opened in September, the mother-daughter owned shoppe is open Tuesday-Friday afternoons 4-11pm and Saturday and Sunday 2-11pm. Mash Monkeys Brewing Company, the ninth and latest brewery to open in the tri-county area and the second one in Sebastian. We’ll sample some of the brewery’s awesome craft beer creations and go on a tour with Derek Gerry, one of the brewery’s founders, owners and brewers. If frog legs and gator tails are your thing, then you’re in good company! Every January for the past 25 years, the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival puts Fellsmere, Florida, on the map. This festival has become a huge draw for visitors who want to experience homespun, Florida-fun, and of course locals who want to join their family and friends enjoying the best the sunshine state offers. Hop to the festival from January 17-20, 2019.

Feb. 9-May, 5 2019 the Vero Beach Museum of Fine Arts will unveil a new exhibit: Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts MovementDrawn from the outstanding collection of the city of Birmingham, United Kingdom, Victorian Radicals will bring together an extensive array of 145 works by pioneering artists —many of which have never been exhibited outside the UK—to illuminate this dynamic period of British art.
