The Sunset Market will take place Friday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. beginning May 6, 2022 on the lower-level common area. Local small business owners showcase their one-of-a-kind masterpieces in décor, fashion, art, design, plants/succulents, and more. 

 

The Sunset Market, produced by experienced team at Open Air Markets and More, is designed to create a place where local artisans interact with Central Floridians and visitors alike with seasonal offerings including baked goods, artwork, and produce.

‘Sneakerella’ Movie and Digital Soundtrack Set To Release May 13



Burbank, Calif. (April 29, 2022) – Disney+ and Walt Disney Records give viewers a sneak(er) peek at the upcoming Disney+ original movie “Sneakerella” with the music video debut of “Kicks,” available today on DisneyMusicVEVO. This trend-setting pop/hip-hop musical begins streaming May 13 on Disney+ and puts a contemporary twist on the “Cinderella” fairy tale.

 

The uber-cool jam “Kicks,” performed by Chosen Jacobs, is the film’s opening musical sequence and introduces El (Jacobs) and his affinity for sneakers as he glides his way through the vibrant street-sneaker subculture of New York City. The song was written by Antonina Armato, Tim James Price, Thomas Armato Sturges and Adam Schmalholz and produced by Antonina Armato and Tim James Price. The stand-out dance sequence is choreographed by Ebony Williams and Emilio Dosal. 

 

In addition to Jacobs, “Sneakerella” stars a multitalented, diverse ensemble cast, including Lexi Underwood, John Salley, Devyn Nekoda, Juan Chioran, Bryan Terrell Clark, Kolton Stewart, Robyn Alomar, Yvonne Senat-Jones and Hayward Leach.

 

“Sneakerella” is a Disney+ original movie from Disney Branded Television, directed and co-executive produced by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum. Jane Startz and Rachel Watanabe-Batton serve as executive producers. The teleplay was written by David Light & Joseph Raso, Tamara Chestna, and Mindy Stern & George Gore II.  It is based on a story by Stern & Gore and Light & Raso. Chestna also serves as co-executive producer.

 

“Sneakerella” features eight new original songs covering a variety of music genres, including pop, R&B and hip-hop, creating a towering soundtrack that takes the story to a whole new level. Written and composed by a mix of acclaimed songwriters who have worked across high-profile projects, including the “Descendants,” “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” and “ZOMBIES” franchises, as well as “Empire” and “Straight Outta Compton,” the songs are contemporary in feel, lyrical in content and relevant to today’s young audiences. Award-winning composer Elvin Ross is the composer of the movie. Williams and Dosal are choreographers on the film, and acclaimed choreographer Christopher Scott serves as a co-producer on the movie.

 

The “Sneakerella” digital original soundtrack will be released on May 13; the physical will be available on June 24.

Popular R&B and soul singer, producer and songwriter known for his distinctive vocals, Sweat has released over a dozen albums and sold over 40 million records. He was also an influential figure in the new jack swing musical movement, a trailblazing, highly rhythmic fusion of R&B, hip hop and dance-pop. His catalog of hits includes multiple chart-topping songs such as "I Want Her," "Get Up On It," "Something Just Ain't Right," "Make It Last Forever," "I'll Give All My Love to You," "Make You Sweat," "Twisted" and more. He has been atop the charts five times and produced 15 Top 10 hits and was awarded the Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions spanning his nearly 40-year career.

Formed while in high school, R&B quartet 112 (one-twelve) is comprised of Daron JonesMichael KeithQuinnes "Q" Parker, and Marvin "Slim" Scandrik. The band launched their career with their self-titled double-platinum debut album produced by Puff Daddy, which produced hit singles, "Only You" and "Cupid," both of which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number three and number two on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. Releasing several multi-platinum-selling albums, R&B artist Ginuwine (Elgin Baylor Lumpkin) became one of R&B's top artists during the late 1990s and early 2000s. His double-platinum debut album, "Ginuwine – The Bachelor," topped the Billboard 200 chart and number 14 on the R&B Albums chart and the lead single, "Pony," peaked at number one on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
