Mango’s Live! Debuts, Orlando’s Dazzling Cabaret-Style Show Raises the Standard for Nighttime Entertainment
After the successful reopening this summer of its acclaimed ultra-lounge, Mango’s Tropical Café presents Mango’s Live!, a Cabaret-style show debuting on Dec. 10. This dazzling, unforgettable musical revue will captivate the senses with the sound of a 12-piece live band, fabulously choreographed dancing, exuberant costumes, incredible singers and state-of-the-art lighting and sound. Best of all, every guest can be a star in the show.
“Mango’s is a special place where locals and tourists can celebrate special occasions, reconnect with old friends and make new ones,” said owner David Wallack. “Mango’s Live! is a new, fully immersive artistic show where guests can be part of a high-energy dance and music experience that celebrates life.”
Mango’s Live! will go on stage on select nights. The doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Guests can choose between intimate, VIP lounge sitting in close proximity to the stage or general admission. VIP tickets start at $49 per person, while general admission starts at $15. After the nearly two-hour show, guests are welcome to hit the dance floor until 2 a.m.
Mango’s evokes the sounds and sights of the great rooms of yesteryears like the famed Tropicana Night Club in Havana and the iconic Cotton Club of 1930s New York City. Whether it is to Brazilian samba, Cuban conga, a variety of Latin beats, Hip-hop, or 80s, 90s and today’s top hits, guests are captivated by the irresistible rhythms and energy.
A new menu that blends the favors of Latin America and the world into innovative shareable dishes is being unveiled. It is the creation of Chef Ren Acosta and features sumptuous platters and creative flatbreads.
“Every dish has been carefully developed to enhance the Mango’s Live! experience through the tastebuds,” said Chef Acosta. “We have drawn from the freshness, flavors, colors and textures of Latin America and the world’s cuisine to create dishes that evoke Mango’s fun and cosmopolitan vibe.”
Mango’s will host live concerts throughout the year with some of the hottest salsa, merengue, reggaeton and Brazilian music headliners, as well as the most popular DJs from the global scene. The most dazzling New Year’s Eve extravaganza on Dec. 31 will ring 2022 in style. Get ready for an incomparable night of cocktails, dancing and first-class entertainment like no other in Orlando.
Guests may conveniently park at the 880-space Hollywood Plaza Garage developed by Wallack Holdings. It is adjacent to Mango’s, at the corner of International Drive and Sand Lake Dr. Recently, The Walt Disney Co. began construction of the world’s largest, dynamic digital art mural that will wrap around the 10-level structure. When completed, it will be a one-of-a-kind art piece in Orlando at 114,671 pounds, 30 feet high and 337 feet long. This is one of the largest projects Disney has committed outside its Reedy Creek district and was orchestrated by Mango’s COO Joshua Wallack.
