Dominican Singer and Songwriter Makes Debut Performance at Orlando’s Kia Center on October 15 

ORLANDO, FLORIDA [2026] — Emerging Dominican bachata singer and songwriter Dalvin La Melodia, born Dalvin Antonio Núñez Vargas, announced his first US Tour, bringing his soulful voice to venues across the country. La Melodia makes his debut performance at Orlando’s Kia Center on Thursday, October 15. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, La Melodia started his musical journey singing in a local church choir with his father. While working odd jobs, he spent his free time honing his craft and posting raw street-corner and in-transit vocal performances online. In 2024, his professional trajectory took a major turn when he connected with renowned guitarist, arranger and producer Michael Quevedo, who helped refine La Melodia’s signature acoustic-infused sound and modern arrangement style.

 

Known for his smooth, heartfelt bachata vocal style blending traditional romantic delivery with modern R&B and urban Latin influences, his rapid rise to prominence has earned him millions of global streams and a rapidly growing international fanbase. La Melodia has built a strong streaming and digital presence across platforms like Spotify with over 85M total streams. He captured widespread attention from his viral streaming tracks including “Mi Reina,” “Chiquilla Bonita” and “Tesoro Perdido,” amassing over 73M views on YouTube. Marking a major career milestone, La Melodia debuted on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart with “Chiquilla Bonita,” climbing to number 24.

 

Last year, La Melodia collaborated with Romeo Santos, The King of Bachata, and Prince Royce on the song “Menor,” released on November 28. The track is featured on Santos’ and Royce’s surprise collaborative album “Better Late Than Never.” “Menor” was the only guest feature on the entire album, meant to bridge generations of bachata. Additionally, he recorded with Latin mainstays, including bachata legend El Chavel de la Bachata (“Antes y Después”), urban star Tito “El Bambino” (“Así Se Vende”) and El Blachy (“Almba Rota”).
