Earlier this week, Wave announced the release of his highly anticipated seventh full-length album, “Don’t

Look Down,” out August 28 via Alamo Records. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE. Welcoming audiences into the multidimensional world of the record, he recently dropped the official album trailer, which he personally starred in alongside Golden Globe-nominated actor Danny Hudson (“Succession,” “Yellowstone,” “Wonder Woman”) and produced through his own production company Mainstay Films. Watch HERE.

“Don’t Look Down” notably marks his first full-length offering since 2024’s acclaimed “Last Lap.” The latter bowed at number two on the Billboard 200, notching his fifth consecutive top three entry on the respective chart and netting his fourth straight number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Following a momentous 2025, Wave entered 2026 as hot as ever. His weekly streams average over 82 million and he closed last year as the third most-streamed artist in the US on Audiomack and is in the top 15 of overall on-demand audio artists. Additionally, he sold out every date of his arena headline tour, The Redemption Experience. He garnered a nomination at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Video for “Sinners.” The song served as the title track and lead single for the 2025 multi-award-winning hit film of the same name.

Nobody has tapped into the heartbeat of the culture quite like Wave. The Florida-born chart-dominating multiplatinum singer, rapper, storyteller and visionary has left blood, sweat, tears, spirit and soul on every track he has ever produced, emerging as one of his generation’s most honest voices. By opening up without apology, he has resonated worldwide with dozens of multiplatinum, platinum and gold certifications, over 15B streams and sold out arena tours. He spawned three consecutive number-one debuts on the Billboard 200 with “SoulFly” (2021), “Beautiful Mind” (2022) and “Nostalgia” (2023), and “Last Lap” (2024) marked his fifth top five debut in five years. Plus, his catalog boasts the four-time platinum “Heart On Ice,” three-time platinum “Street Runner” and more. Wave shows no signs of slowing down, as he continues to push forward with more music and beyond. Wave has struck a chord without comparison and his impact will reverberate through the industry for a long time to come. This is only the beginning of his reign.
