ORLANDO, FLORIDA [April, 2026] — Multi-platinum artist and creative polymath Melanie Martinez today announced HADES: THE SACRIFICE, her new North American and European tour in support of “HADES,” her fourth studio album. Produced by Live Nation, the 26-date global run begins with a first leg across North America and Mexico this summer, kicking off on Wednesday, July 15, in St. Paul, MN and includes a return visit to Orlando’s Kia Center on Thursday, July 30. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 24 at 12 p.m. ET.

The Live Nation pre-sale runs Thursday, April 23, at 10 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. ET. There is a four (4) ticket limit per order.

“When writing ‘HADES,’ I knew the tour for this album had to be immersive and cinematic,” said Martinez. Creating a new character and thinking of how she’ll be performing in this new world is so exciting. This tour is very different to anything I’ve done before and involves more practical elements and camera illusions that I’m really excited about. We’re working on making sure each song gets their moment. I hope it can bring people together under these strange dystopian times we’re living in.”

“HADES” debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, marking her fourth consecutive Top 10 debut and third consecutive Top 5 debut. The album also opened at number one on the Billboard Top Alternative Albums and Rock & Alternative charts. A brooding, maximalist 18-track journey into the fractured psyche of modern life, “HADES” cements Martinez as one of the most daring voices of her generation. In a recent review of the record, Rolling Stone calls Martinez “a prolific visionary with no shortage of imagination...”

Tonight, Martinez will perform the track “Possession” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT on ABC).

The announcement follows a fan-driven rollout for “HADES,” which Martinez unveiled through a series of sold-out listening experiences in London, Amsterdam and Toronto. Conceived as immersive previews of the album's world, the events brought fans closer than ever to the music, a vision Martinez then expanded with intimate performances in New York City, Mexico City and Los Angeles, where she debuted the album live with a full band and string section. HADES: THE SACRIFICE marks her first major tour since 2024, when she embarked on her first-ever global arena headline tour, The Trilogy Tour. Listen to “HADES” here.

With 30B+ global streams, 5.54B+ official YouTube views and 62.2M+ followers across platforms, Martinez has stretched, shaped and molded alternative pop into an immersive, innovative and inimitable world of her own design. Since emerging in 2012, the New York-born Latin-American singer, songwriter, director and visionary has not only blurred the lines between genres, but also between reality and fantasy, beckoning audiences into the warm embrace of her singular artistry. Martinez broke ground with her iconic 2015 debut LP, “Cry Baby.” The two-time platinum album celebrated its 10th anniversary last year and is mother to the three-time platinum “Dollhouse,” two-time platinum staples “Pity Party,” “Play Date,” “Pacify Her,” “Carousel,” “Mad Hatter” and “Soap,” and platinum favorites “Training Wheels,” “Sippy Cup,” “Alphabet Boy” and “Tag, You’re It.” After vaulting to number six on the Billboard 200, this debut has gone on to log 208 non-consecutive weeks on the chart. In its wake, she notched two consecutive Top 3 debuts on the Billboard 200 with the platinum-certified “K-12” (2019) and “Portals” (2023). All three albums debuted at number one on the Billboard Alternative chart.

Upon the release of “K-12,” Martinez also made her film debut with an accompanying musical of the same name which upon its release was number six at the box office worldwide. On her tour for this record, she donated a dollar of every ticket to The Trevor Project. “Portals” debuted on the Billboard 200 at number two and spawned “Void” and “Death,” her first original songs to debut on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2023, Martinez also released a perfume line in partnership with Flower Shop Perfumes. This is after her original perfume, Cry Baby, which was self-released in 2016 and was a sold-out success. The collection has since expanded to include candles, body sprays and perfume pendants. Her fragrances have quickly emerged as a standout in the category, ranking among the top five best sellers at ScentBar, the nation’s leading indie fragrance retailer.
