KANY GARCÍA ANNOUNCES ‘PUERTA ABIERTA TOUR 2026’
Multi-Latin GRAMMY®-Winning Artist Returns to Orlando’s Kia Center on October 4
ORLANDO, FLORIDA [April, 2026] — After revealing the initial dates for her 2026 tour earlier this year, Kany García has more than doubled the number of shows to 70, the most extensive tour of her career, officially announcing her Puerta Abierta Tour 2026. The trek kicks off on Friday, April 17, in Mexico City and includes a stop at Orlando’s Kia Center on Sunday, October 4. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. ET.
Citi is the official card of the Puerta Abierta Tour 2026. Citi card members have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. ET until Thursday, April 16, at 10 p.m. ET. The Artist pre-sale runs Wednesday, April 15, at 10 a.m. ET until Thursday, April 16, at 10 p.m. ET. Kia Center and Live Nation pre-sales run concurrently from Thursday, April 16, at 10 a.m. ET until 10 p.m. ET.
“I’m feeling so incredibly emotional and enjoying this as I should; savoring the moment, being here, being present for every single detail,” García told Billboard Español. “I’ve tried not to live in a rush lately, but it’s been almost impossible. I took eight months off to prepare myself for what’s ahead.” “I’m bringing a production that is, without a doubt, the most ambitious of my career, several stadiums and arenas I never dreamed of as a singer-songwriter,” continued the seven-time Latin GRAMMY® winner. “And I don’t mean to diminish singer-songwriters; it’s just that people know how challenging it is for a singer-songwriter to achieve something like this. So, I’m trying to take it day by day.”
García will perform 19 shows in Mexican cities including Monterrey, Guadalajara and Tijuana. During the fall, she has 16 dates scheduled in the U.S. and Canada, as well as 10 concerts in Colombia. Additionally, she will perform 10 shows across Europe, including Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and the U.K. Other stops include Peru, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
García has solidified her standing as one of the most poignant and successful voices in Latin music, a journey beginning with her breakthrough 2007 debut “Cualquier Día.” Over nearly two decades, the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter has amassed an impressive collection of accolades, including six Latin GRAMMY® Awards and multiple GRAMMY® nominations. Her discography is defined by deeply emotional anthems and chart-topping hits such as the breakout single “Hoy Ya Me Voy,” the heartfelt ballad “Confieso” and the multi-platinum success “Para Siempre.” More recently, her collaborations have reached new heights, with “Te Lo Agradezco” featuring Carín León and “La Siguiente” with Christian Nodal dominating airplay and digital streams across Latin America and the U.S.
Her consistency on the charts is equally remarkable, with a string of critically acclaimed albums that have frequently debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. From the number one success of “Limonada” in 2016 to the celebrated releases of “Soy Yo,” “Contra el Viento” and the Latin GRAMMY-winning “Mesa Para Dos,” García has proven her ability to evolve across genres while maintaining her signature lyrical depth. This momentum continues into 2026 with her 10th studio album, “Puerta Abierta,” which features standouts including “Amor Bonito” and “La Mala Era Yo,” further cementing her legacy as a master storyteller and a definitive force in the Latin pop and singer-songwriter landscapes.
