Y con motivo de ello les comparto mi entrevista con la Chef Claudia Sandoval quien ahora será juez de esta deliciosa competencia.

¿Qué es MasterChef Latino?

MasterChef Latino es una competencia culinaria producida por Endemol Shine Boomdog, creadores de MasterChef, la prestigiosa marca internacional que se ha convertido en el programa de cocina número uno del mundo, y que llega una vez más al público hispano de los Estados Unidos a través de Telemundo.

Conducida por la reconocida actriz, conductora de televisión e influencer, Gaby Espino, junto a los famosos chefs Claudia Sandoval, Ennio Carota y Benito Molina, la nueva temporada presenta un formato innovador que reúne una diversidad de culturas, platos y sabores de toda América Latina, donde los mejores cocineros amateurs/no profesionales de los Estados Unidos harán todo lo posible para convertirse en un maestro culinario, compitiendo por un premio en efectivo de $100,000 y el codiciado título de MasterChef Latino.

¿Quiénes son los participantes?

Los participantes son personas con los que todos nos podemos identificar, esos familiares, vecinos y compañeros de trabajo a los que les apasiona la cocina, sin embargo, nunca han trabajado como chefs Son de todas las edades, nacionalidades y ocupaciones, pero tienen algo en común: los une su gran pasión por la cocina y el sueño de convertirse en un chef profesional.

¿Cómo serán seleccionados?

Para encontrar a los participantes, se realizaron audiciones en Nueva York, Chicago, Miami, Houston, Los Ángeles y Puerto Rico. De estas, 40 finalistas fueron elegidos para una prueba final que se llevará a cabo en la sede de MasterChef Latino, ubicada en las modernas instalaciones de Telemundo Center, en la ciudad de Miami.

Su pase a la competencia lo ganarán enfrentándose en batallas en las que necesitarán hacer uso de todas sus habilidades culinarias para demostrarle a los jueces que son su mejor opción. Durante la prueba, los jueces concederán un delantal a aquellos aspirantes cuyo plato logre impresionarlos. Cada juez tendrá cinco delantales para ofrecer, pues cinco serán los integrantes de su equipo.

Si dos de los jueces ofrecen un delantal al mismo candidato, él o ella tendrá el poder de elegir el equipo al que quiera pertenecer. Los tres jueces seleccionarán un total de 15 participantes. Aquellos que no obtengan delantal, serán eliminados de la competencia.

¿Cómo será la nueva temporada de MasterChef Latino por Telemundo?

En la nueva temporada de MasterChef Latino, los jueces se suman a la acción, pues cada uno formará un equipo de cinco cocineros aficionados y se convertirá en su capitán y mentor. La competencia se pone mucho más interesante con tres equipos, quince sueños, un solo ganador y tres jueces dispuestos a encontrarlo, cueste lo que cueste.

Los aspirantes se enfrentarán a una serie de retos culinarios, individuales o por equipo, viviendo emocionantes victorias o amargos fracasos.
