Reunion Resort Announces Two Spectacular October Culinary Events:
Chef’s Celebrity Challenge & Winetoberfest
Reunion Resort & Golf Club is celebrating all things food and wine this October with the Chef’s Celebrity Challenge (Friday, Oct. 4) and Winetoberfest (Oct. 5-31).
Guests and locals alike are invited to the Chef’s Celebrity Challenge, during which five amazing chefs will present culinary creations paired with wine tastings to benefit five local charities. In addition to delectable food and drink offerings, attendees will enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. While savoring their samplings, guests of the event will cast their vote for their favorite dish to benefit either Autism Speaks, Give Kids the World, Second Harvest Food Bank, Help Now of Osceola or K9s for Warriors. The event will take place in the Clubhouse at Reunion Resort, which has just received a complete refresh, featuring all new interiors and modern design. Tickets are $49 per person in advance and $59 per person the day of the event and may be purchased at ReunionResort.com/
ChefsChallenge. Space is limited so advanced purchase is suggested.
Winetoberfest (Oct. 5-31) will celebrate Reunion’s recent 2019 Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” with special pricing on limited and featured wines at the resort’s Eleven, Forte and Traditions restaurants. White and red options will be available at $7 per glass, $28 per bottle and $18 for a wine world tour, which includes three glasses from the entire selection. The Wine Spectator award is given to those restaurants whose wine lists excel in offering interesting selections that complement their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine enthusiasts.
“Without a doubt, Reunion stands apart from the crowd when it comes to food and beverage offerings,” stated Kevin Baker, property general manager. “These two October events showcase our skills and celebrate our recent achievements by giving back to local organizations and individuals in need, and as raising a toast – at a lower price point.”
The culinary events come on the heels of a resort-wide dining upgrade, which features new menus and expanded and upgraded venues. Reunion Resort offers something for every palate and budget – from fresh-rolled sushi and local craft beers in the Lobby Bar or American regional cuisine with a modern flair at The Clubhouse, to authentic Italian cuisine at Forte, farm-to-table elements at Traditions at The Nicklaus Clubhouse and the resort’s signature steakhouse Eleven.
Reunion Resort is also participating in Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month (extended through Oct. 7) by offering $35 prix fixe menus at both Eleven and Forte.
