AMWAY CENTER EXITOSAMENTE REALIZA TRES GRANDES EVENTOS EN DOS DIAS.

AMWAY CENTER FLAWLESSLY FLIPS THREE EVENTS IN TWO DAYS

The Amway Center hosts well over 225 events each year ranging from basketball to concerts to ice hockey to family shows but setting up three different events on the arena floor in two days requires special attention to detail to pull conversions off seamlessly. This past weekend, the arena’s operations team and partners did just that.
On Saturday, February 10, at 7 p.m., the Orlando Magic hosted the Milwaukee Bucks and immediately following the game, the arena floor underwent an overnight changeover to a hockey set-up for the 9:30 a.m. Sunday game between the Orlando Solar Bears and the Wheeling Nailers. Once that game concluded, the crew quickly turned the space for the 8 p.m.start of the Nicky Jam and Plan B concert.

"Flipping day-to-day events inside Amway Center always requires skill, expertise and careful planning but hosting three very different events in barely 24 hours is no small feat," said Orlando Venues Chief Venues Officer Allen Johnson. "I'm proud of our operations team and our partners that work tirelessly to ensure the transitions between each event run smoothly and our diverse programming always remains on schedule."

Beginning on Tuesday, February 6 and running through Tuesday, February 13, the Amway Center will have hosted nine events in eight consecutive days.
