RETURNS TO ORLANDO

AS A NEW ADDITION TO THE

2017 – 2018 FAIRWINDS BROADWAY IN ORLANDO SERIES  

The 20^th anniversary world tour of the international Irish dance phenomenon is a season add-on option, joining the previously announced roster of productions coming to Dr. Phillips Center next season.   

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Florida Theatrical Association and Broadway Across America announce the addition of Riverdance – The 20^th Anniversary World Tour to the 2017 – 2018 FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando season. Back by popular demand, the show will play a strictly limited engagement at the art center’s Walt Disney Theater for 5 performances from Friday, January 26, 2018 – Sunday, January 28, 2018. FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando season subscribers will have first access to tickets starting today, Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Tickets will be made available to the general public at a later date to be announced. The return engagement of Riverdance is not included in the standard 2017 - 2018 FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando subscription package. Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures. Riverdance - The 20^th Anniversary World Tour has set design by Robert Ballagh, lighting design by John Comiskey, costume design by Joan Bergin and sound design by Michael O’Gorman.
