ORLANDO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA HOSTS PRELUDE TO 25 PRESENTED BY WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Proceeds support the organization’s mission to foster and promote symphonic music

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is hosting a fundraising event presented by the Walt Disney World Resort on Tuesday, May 23 at DoveCote Brasserie at 6 p.m. The goal is to raise $100,000 to support the orchestra’s season of concerts and education programs.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the orchestra as we approach our 25^th Anniversary Season,” said Christopher Barton, executive director. “We present over 125 performances each year to more than 150,000 people. The generous support that we receive from the community makes all of this possible.”

$78,000 has already been committed from sponsors and donors. The remainder of the goal will be realized through ticket sales and donations leading up to and during the event. The event includes elegant hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and a special performance by musicians from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
