BURGER BASH (Burger Competition in South Beach)
Partner Chef to National Pork Board, Chef Richard Plasencia, prepared the only Pork Belly Hamburger in this heated burger competition where the best chefs battled it out for "Top Burger" prize!
SWINE & WINE (at the Biltmore Hotel)
Some of the best local chefs faced off in a heated competition for best Pork dish. The selective Panel of judges included: Julie Maschhoff, co-owner of The Maschhoffs, one of the largest Pork Producers in the coutry, as well as National Pork Board Ambassador and celebrity chef, Richard Ingraham, personal chef to Dwayne Wade, Executive Chef of Goya Foods, Fernando Desa and Eddie Zamora of The Yum Yum Foodie online fame.
