After winning the 2007 Factor XS (Colombian X Factor), Camilo Echeverry, the Colombian Latin pop and reggaeton artist known mononymously as Camilo, is known for his romantic pop songs fused with urban beats. The multi-award-winning artist has collaborated with some of Latin music's leading artists, including Pedro Capó and Shakira ("Tutu") and winning the 2020 Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Song. In 2021, his "Tattoo Remix" collaboration with Rauw Alejandro earned him his second Latin GRAMMY® Award for Best Urban Fusion performance. Additionally, Camilo received six nominations at the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards.
In 2008, Camilo made appearances on the Colombian telenovela “Super Pá and En los tacones de Eva” and the children's program "Bichos." In 2010, he released the mixtape "Tráfico de Sentimientos" and shortly after its release, Camilo took a break from releasing his own music and began expanding his career writing songs for others, including "Sin Pijama" by Becky G and Natti Natasha, "Veneno" by Anitta and "Ya No Tiene Novio" by Sebastian Yatra with Mau y Ricky. Released in 2018, "Ya No Tiene Novio" garnered over 517 million views on YouTube in less than a year.
Camilo recently wrapped his sold-out Mis Manos Tour in December 2021 in Mexico after visiting major U.S. cities as well as Puerto Rico, Argentina and Colombia. He is currently working on his third studio album.
