En una ciudad fronteriza mexicana plagada de abandono, corrupción y violencia, un profesor frustrado (Eugenio Derbez) prueba un método radicalmente nuevo para romper con la apatía de sus alumnos y desbloquear su curiosidad, su potencial... y tal vez incluso su genialidad.
