MULTI-AWARD-WINNING LATIN ARTIST ALEJANDRO SANZ ANNOUNCES U.S. TOUR
Sanz Makes His Debut at Orlando’s Amway Center on September 21
ORLANDO, FLORIDA [March 14, 2023] — On the heels of his massively successful trek through Mexico selling out all 15 shows and his return to the U.S. for the first time in four years, the multi-award-winning musician, singer and composer Alejandro Sanz today announced the U.S. dates for his Sanz En Vivo Tour. Produced by Loud And Live, the 11-date tour kicks off on Sunday, September 16 in San Juan, PR and includes his debut performance at Orlando’s Amway Center on Thursday, September 21. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m. ET.
American Express card members and Fan Club members may purchase tickets during the pre-sale beginning Wednesday, March 15 at 10 a.m. through Friday, March 17 at 9 a.m. ET. Additional pre-sales including Loud And Live, Amway Center and radio partners begin Thursday, March 16 through Friday, March 17 at 9 a.m. ET.
“To still be able to tour and do sold-out shows at this point of my career is everything,” says Sanz. “For an artist, everything is about being on a stage. Everything else is a bonus, even recording. To be on stage is what one dreams about when you’re a musician. You dream of sharing, to be able to fill spaces with emotions.”
His Sanz En Vivo Tour, which kicked off last summer in Spain and visited more than 25 cities throughout the country, is a dazzling new show where Sanz takes the audience on a journey through his extensive repertoire. He will perform some of his most popular hits including "Corazón Partío," "Amiga Mía" and "Mi Persona Favorita" and will include more recent songs from “Sanz,” his latest album and 14thstudio album, which earned him a Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Album of the Year in 2022.
From his 1991 debut album, “Viviendo Deprisa,” to his latest 2021 album, "Sanz," Sanz has established himself as one of the most well-known and influential artists in the world. With over 25 million records sold, his albums have achieved multi-platinum status in Spain, Latin America and the U.S. He is also the top award-winning artist from Spain with four GRAMMY® Awards and 25 Latin GRAMMY® Awards. In 2017, he was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year, in recognition of his career and his significant philanthropic contributions.
Throughout his career, Sanz has collaborated with internationally-renowned artists, including performers such as Alicia Keys, Shakira, Destiny's Child, Laura Pausini, The Corrs, Ivete Sangalo, Emeli Sandé, Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Marc Anthony, Alejandro Fernández, Camila Cabello, Nicky Jam, Camilo and the legendary Tony Bennett. Most recently, the singer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was celebrated by his hometown of Andalucía at the official Andalusian Day Ceremony, where Sanz was designated as its “Favorite Son,” the city's highest distinction.
