LEGENDARY PUERTO RICAN SINGER GILBERTO SANTA ROSA ANNOUNCES AUTÉNTICO WORLD TOUR
Six-Time GRAMMY® Award-Winning Salsa Sensation Performs at Orlando’s Amway Center on February 16 – His First Performance at the Arena in 12 Years
ORLANDO, FLORIDA [August 21, 2023] – Loud And Live, the South Florida-based entertainment marketing and media company, announced today legendary six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Puerto Rican singer Gilberto Santa Rosa added five new dates to the Auténtico World Tour. The 23-city tour launches on Wednesday, November 15 in Nashville, Tennessee and includes a return visit to Orlando’s Amway Center on Friday, February 16, Santa Rosa’s first performance at the venue since 2011. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m. ET.
The following Santa Rosa pre-sales via Loud And Live, Ticketmaster, Radio and Amway Center begin Thursday, August 22 at 10 a.m. ET through Friday, August 23 at 9 a.m. ET.
With an impeccable artistic career and unparalleled passion, the aptly nicknamed El Caballero de la Salsa (the Gentleman of Salsa), Santa Rosa has established his position as one of the most notable performers of tropical music worldwide. Among his various accolades are the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Latin Heritage Award in 2002 and winning six GRAMMY® Awards. Additionally, the Latin Recording Academy awarded him the Lifetime Award of Excellence for his creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording during his career. However, he considers his greatest reward the unconditional support his fans have shown him over his decades-long musical career. With this new tour, the Puerto Rican superstar promises to give the world a unique and captivating experience for all lovers of Latin music and salsa.
In 2022, Santa Rosa visited more than 40 cities with his successful Camínalo Tour, performing to capacity crowds in Chile, Colombia, Panama and the United States, among many other countries. He wrapped his tour with concerts in Europe, touring Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany and England and selling out the concert halls revalidating his greatness. At the conclusion of the tour, Santa Rosa immediately segued into the recording studio for his next record production, which will release later this year. His career spans more than 45 years, producing nearly 40 albums, with sales exceeding more than five million records in the United States.
